    Hello!! 

       My name is Jessicakay Byrnes and the handsome puppy in that photo is named Blu Bear. I am a 21-year-old TXST future educator in the making. I am on my senior year and currently taking some summer classes! I have made blogs before for classes but have never used Blogger before so super excited to learn and figure this road out! I love the outdoors, hiking, swimming and even working out outside. Recently I got an outdoor buddy, my puppy Blu. He is 7 months old blue lacy/massive mix. I call him a dumpster puppy because someone threw him in the dumpster when he was only 3 weeks old. He’s a healthy whopping 68 pounds and still growing now!! I did not always want to teach when I was younger in high school, I received my final concussion that left some brain damage from my horse-riding career that ended it. I looked for a new path and already loved working with children and had some past expiries with some bad teachers and some good teachers that put me on the path to wanting to be a teacher! I have dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia as well as being born premature I had a cognitive growth delay. I had two teachers who really impacted me and helped me get diagnosed as well as help me to understand information and for them and how much they impacted me I want to be them to other students who have challenges in school weather it's social, emotional, racial, or special education it is my goal to be a teacher who advocate and fights for my student’s needs, wants, and voices!
